Terms of Service

A tool that generates short-form video ads for iOS apps from public App Store listings, using AI — language models write the scripts, synthetic voices speak them, and our fully AI-generated cast of creators (no real person's likeness) can front them. Output quality varies the way generated content does; the drafts flow exists so you approve scripts before credits burn.

• Subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe until you cancel. Cancel anytime via Billing → Stripe portal; you keep access through the period you've paid for. Prices are shown at checkout before you pay.
• Monthly credits refresh each month. Unused credits roll over up to one month's allowance — we don't burn your balance on renewal, but it can't stack forever.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases and never expire.
• If a render fails on our end, the credits come back automatically — including when a deploy or crash interrupts a batch mid-render. Money refunds beyond that are handled case-by-case at hello@makerreels.com; we're not interested in keeping money for a product that jammed.

You own the ads the machine renders for you — use them in your marketing anywhere. You're responsible for having the rights to advertise the app you paste in (your own app, or one you're authorized to promote) and for what your ads claim. The MakerReels cast, voices, music loops, and templates remain ours; they're licensed to you as part of your rendered ads, not for standalone extraction.

• Don't advertise apps you have no rights to promote.
• Don't use the machine for deceptive, unlawful, or infringing ads — and check the ad policies of wherever you post (TikTok, Meta, and friends have their own AI-content rules; some require disclosure).
• Don't abuse the free tier, scrape the service, or resell access.

We can suspend accounts that break these — flagrant abuse forfeits remaining credits; otherwise we'll work it out like adults.

MakerReels is provided as-is. We work hard to keep the machine running (see /status), but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and our total liability to you is capped at what you've paid us in the last 12 months. We don't guarantee your ads will perform — that part's still marketing.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If we change them materially, we'll note it here with a new date. Questions: hello@makerreels.com.
